Gulf Coast Claims

The Gulf Coast Claims Facility began its operations during the BP oil spill incident which occurred in the year April, 20, 2010. GCCF was administered under the guidance and supervision of Mr. Kenneth R. Feinberg (Claims Administrator). He was the main lead responsible for taking decisions which are related to administration & processing claims which are submitted to GCCF. Both Mr. Feinberg and GCCF act on behalf of and for British Petroleum.

Gulf Coast Claims forms can be made available in three different ways.

• Individuals and company’s can download the form from the official website of GCCF.
• By visiting the office of GCCF and get a complete set of the claim forms.
• Claim form can be obtained even by calling on their toll free number which is made available on their official website. Calls are attended only during office hours between 9.00 am until 6.00 pm (EST) from Monday upto Friday. Staff will ask the callers their name and address along with a valid email id. They will email the claim form accordingly.
   

• The claim forms are available in 3 languages Spanish, Khmer & Vietnamese. Once the claim forms have been duly filled, it can be sent back by regular mail, registered mail, fax or email. Filing the claim is Free without any charges. Those who have suffered losses can even attach photographs & videos which can support their claim even more.

  

  Once the claim has been reviewed, applicants will be called and provided with a 7 digit identification number with which they are required to check the progress of the gulf coast claim.
